South Korea’s KQC Agrees Nasdaq Listing via Charlton Aria Merger at US$80 Million Valuation
KQC, which runs customers’ problems on other makers’ quantum machines and sells quantum-safe security, has agreed to list on Nasdaq by merging with Charlton Aria, a blank-cheque company, at a US$80 million valuation. KQC has strong growth plans in place with projects including collaborating with POSCO on battery materials and Busan’s metro on train scheduling, plus paid security trials with Industrial Bank of Korea. Charlton Aria’s investors can redeem before closing, so its US$93.5 million held in trust is a ceiling, but the deal needs only US$30 million to proceed. The combined company, KQC Quantum Inc., would be the first Korean quantum company listed on a US exchange.

Arqit’s Preliminary Results Put Annual Revenue Near US$1 Million as Second Half Weakens
Arqit, a London-based maker of quantum-safe encryption software, expects annual revenue of close to US$1 million, almost double the year before. It signed three contracts for a new tool that finds the encryption organisations will need to replace. After year-end it joined a consortium supplying secure networking to NATO for up to three years. With a Middle East contract stalled, second-half revenue fell around 40% below the first half’s. The company ended fiscal year 2026 in a strong liquidity position, holding approximately US$51.0 million in cash and cash equivalents.
